“That was great,” he said, beaming. “When you’re an English actor and you get the ‘Harry Potter’ call– it’s like Batman, you know? You have a phone, you have a normal phone, and then you have one that is made out of wood. That’s the ‘Potter’ people. They call you up [and] you get your wand out, you put your cloak on and off you go. It’s a real honor. It’s like getting knighted or something.”
It’s like the call-up, and it’s so funny. You get on set and you see all these actors who you’ve either admired from afar or more often than not, actors you’ve worked with before, all sitting there, dressed up as wizards, having wand-offs, and then bitching about other actors who didn’t get the call-up. [Idem, para a ComingSoon, 27/02/10]
Oooh, isso é maldade… 😆
“It came about simply because they asked me, finally, to be a wizard – I thought I was going to be the only English actor of a certain age who wasn’t in Harry Potter but now that turns out not to be the case,” he said. [Bill Night para Press Asociation, 12/02/10]
Ufa, escapou por pouco, né tio?
“Mostly saying goodbye to the wig was a very emotional experience,” he said, deadpan. “I don’t get to keep the wig. I don’t know, it might be on a traveling exhibit. I think it’s got a very good agent who’s got some more work lined up.”
For Bonham-Carter, bringing Bellatrix to an end was an emotional experience given her investment in the creation of the character as she appears in the films. “Bellatrix wasn’t on the page,” she explained. “I did think, What can I do to make this interesting? She was just written as tall and gaunt, but I knew there was something I got attracted to — playing arrested development. You know, children. Bellatrix is another child — stuck and totally anarchic.”
Pena. Ela é a melhor nesse tipo de personagem.
I think they just have to make that decision of who’s going to be there and who’s not. And it’s very much about the love interest now, it’s a little bit more serious… less silly characters like me! I miss it, I loved doing it. I would’ve liked to still be involved. [Shirley Henderson para a STV via The Leaky Cauldron, 25/02/10]
Hollywood’s 10 Most Eeeeevil Actors
